Purpose
- Conduct, provide and support scientific and medical research in the interest of the general public, making the results of such research available to the public.
- Advance knowledge that leads to the better understanding of the molecular structure, function and medical utility of molecules of the matrix between cells and surrounding cells, their regulatory role in all functions and their therapeutic potential.
- Establish and operate research laboratories to pursue the above objectives .
- Educate and train scientists and specialists in the field of biomedical research and matrix engineering.
- Facilitate means of communication between scientists and specialists in various fields of science and medicine.
- Establish, collect and maintain publications and other documents related to the research outlined above, and make this collection available to qualified individuals.
- Establish, collect and exhibit research instruments and tools of historical value, and make this collection available to the public.
- Apply for grants, donations and other financial aid from federal, state or private organizations and individuals.
- The Institute (MBI) is incorporated in the State of Delaware, USA, for charitable, scientific and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended. The Corporation is not organized for profit and has no authority to issue capital stock.
